The Sixth International Conference on Iranian Linguistics will be held on June 23-26 2015 at the G. Tsereteli Institute of Oriental Studies, Ilia State University, Tbilisi, Georgia.
The ICIL conferences aim to bring together linguists and philologists of different theoretical backgrounds working on Iranian languages. There are only plenary sessions during the conferences in order to allow participants to attend all presentations.
The program with a list of accepted papers and posters is available at the Conference Website. Keynote speakers are Professor Mostafa Asi (Institute of Humanities and Cultural Studies, Tehran) and Professor Martin Schwartz (Department of Near Eastern Studies, University of California, Berkeley).
The ICIL organisers have also published peer-reviewed collections of articles emerging from the conferences, which underline the approach of integrating the various disciplines.
The members of the Conference Organisation Committee are Professor Gilles Authier (École Pratique des Hautes Études, Paris / France), Professor Carina Jahani (Uppsala University / Sweden), and Dr. Agnes Korn (Frankfurt a.M. University).
